One of the practices that I want to begin doing is to, in my Bible reading plan each day, make notes of each passage I read and give a summary of what the Bible teaches on that particular day. I think it helps to get a full scope of the gospel from various passages and draw it all together each day.
Today I read: 1 Kings 10, Psalm 31, Ezekiel 40, and Philippians 1.
Gospel summary: Knowing that the all-wise God has come in Christ to defeat Satan and his demons and to rescue sinners by means of atoning for sin at the cross, we his redeemed must constantly cry out to him in enemy territory and work together as a church to fight to believe this gospel, willing to face persecution for it, since he will complete the work of redemption in his timing.
